Does it matter?

Now I'm not looking for hundreds of comments (or am I?:), but the thought of updating my blog, which is essentially a journal, is not the most appealing to me - no wonder why I stink at journal keeping. I mean, how interesting am I really? Nothing super exciting happens (minus our recent trip to China, pulling our kids out of school for a family vacation for a week, chasing down the H1S1 or whatever vaccine, etc.) Does anyone want to hear about another Mom blogging about her life? Do my kids want to read about it? Am I really that funny? Who knows... just feeling like it doesn't matter, three people read my blog (and I know it's not about the readership) and they all know these stories and what my kids look like.

Just some thoughts. Now I'm tired and I need to clean my office.

Mo, Can't tell you how much I look forward to your blog. I look at it often(even read back posts) but don't comment most the time because my comments seem trivial compared to the content of your blog. You will have to decide for yourself if does matter to you-I know it does to me. Someday your kids will ask about things they did and you will have a reference here. Believe it or not they will be impressed by the way you coped with everything. I can't tell you how many times I have read your blog and laughed so hard that I cried. Mo, you keep things real. I am sure that you are exhausted from your trip. I only had a two hour time change and I am still wiped out. How else am I going to know that it is normal for a person to have a hershey's candy bar and wash it down with hot chocolate (like I did this morning) unless I keep hearing about your coke runs. (Had a few when I was there-kids had sprite)Try not to put too much pressure on yourself-the blog will still be here later-you do more in one day then most people do in a week!

It's the only way some of us can keep tabs on your life! I used to know everything about your life...okay so that was a LONG time ago, so it is fun to get a glimpse now of where we all end up.

I don't know what you or your kids look like, and you're not particularly funny. This is actually my first time reading your blog, but I like it.

Just kidding! Mo, I love your posts. It makes me feel like I am there instead of 1,000 miles away with cats crawling over my keyboard. Please save me...kitty litter is starting to fall in between the keys...

I love reading your blog Maureen. I think it's rare to find someone who is honest and candid about life as a mother and that is why I enjoy your blog as much as I do. It's refreshing to read your updates and to feel a connection to someone else who experiences and feels on a daily basis some of the same frustrations and joys as I do in dealing with my family. You're the best Maureen... you are a great friend and I am so thankful for the example you are to me! (Besides, I owe you a lifetime supply of coke (why do I feel a need to type Coca-cola just to clarify I don't mean any other substance referred to by the same name?!) just for listening to my drivel all the time!!)

I looked on Google reader, and you have 11 subscribers there alone! I am in the same boat much of the time thinking why even bother with a blog? But I realize that I love to keep up with people through theirs, and my goal is to have it be a journal for our family. And I can so relate to many of your situations...except my downfall is Dr Pepper instead of Coke.

I LOVE your blog, Maureen! I was so bummed when my computer went down and I lost all of my bookmarks - but through the miracle of Brian - I have them back and am loving reading about your life - mostly because you help me laugh at my own!
